In-Person Certified Discussion on Implementing Long-Acting ART in Clinical Practice

Join Clinical Care Options (CCO), in partnership with HealthHIV, in Memphis on Thursday, September 26 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm EDT for expert insights into the practical steps required to realize the potential of long-acting ART and long-acting PrEP on the part of both patients and healthcare professionals, drawing on real-world experiences and insights from implementation studies.
This in-person session will be held at Char Restaurant in Memphis, Tennessee, with complimentary dinner provided by CCO.

Who Should Attend
This program is intended for physicians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician associates, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals who provide care for people living with or at risk of HIV infection.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Integrate strategies to proactively consider patient candidacy for long-acting ART, administer it appropriately, support patient adherence to dosing visits, and minimize barriers to uptake and adverse events.
- Describe the considerations for initiation and use of long-acting injectable ART for PrEP.
- Select an appropriate initial ART regimen for a patient experiencing seroconversion who was previously receiving long-acting PrEP.
